Top 8 Best Fortnite Chapter 1 Skins Ranked

06/22/2020

One thing that Fortnite has in its corner is its variety of skins available for players to play with. So let us look back to Chapter one and list out the most awesome ones that we know.

The first chapter of the Battle Royale was really exciting for the players, thanks to the game's constant addition to its cosmetic setup. Throughout the chapter, tons of amazing skins were added to the game, starting from skins obtainable from the battle pass to the ones that were for sale in the item shop. There was a ton of anticipation to see what was going to drop next.

The skins in Fortnite became such a big deal that players would often buy and sell accounts if someone wanted an extremely rare skin and the vice versa. While the game has a ton of different options now compared to the first chapter, here are 10 awesome Chapter 1 skins, ranked.

RAVEN

This was one of the first cool skins added to Fortnite, first added in April of 2018, Raven reappears quite a lot in the in-game item shop. As it is a legendary skin, it goes for quite a high price, 2000 V-bucks, but it is still one of the best-looking skins in the game. The skin comes bundled with the Iron Cage Back Bling and can be paired up with the Iron Beak pickaxe for a sick combo.

LYNX

Lynx was one of those outfits that could be upgraded with the process of completing certain challenges throughout a player's progression in Season 7. It was used by players a lot and still stays an awesome skin. With the player reaching level 3, the version of the skin unlocks the first of the cyber customizations. The rest of the levels unlocked different color schemes, with the last one being a sleek all-black version.

DRIFT

This was another one of those skins that got upgraded along with the player completing challenges; it was first introduced in the battle pass of season 5. The best part of the skin was that the final upgrade made the players look like they were ready to become a Hokage powerful enough to challenge Naruto. It also had an awesome glow that kept it above the competition, and the Rift Edge pickaxe that came with the skin is one of the coolest pickaxes in the game.

GHOUL TROOPER

First added during the Halloween of 2017, Ghoul Trooper is one of those skins that are extremely in demand with other seasonal skins like Skull Trooper and Skull Ranger. It is hands down one of the best seasonal skins out there. It can be coupled with the reaper pickaxe that is also available during seasonal sales, for a really good match. It was rare before but not as much now as it has made a few visits to the shop till now.

RENEGADE RAIDER

The Renegade Raider is one of the most wanted skins in Fortnite right now, although it is not the best-looking skin in the whole game, the reason that it was available only in the first season makes it extremely rare. This skin has become commonplace in discussions right now because of talk about its return. Renegade Raider is sometimes associated with skilled players, even if that is not necessarily always the case. Overall, it's a pretty cool skin that will most likely return again shortly.

ELITE AGENT

This is a fan favorite skin mostly because it was one of its types when it was first introduced. The period when it was introduced, this was the only skin that made the player look like a military operator. In later seasons, the customization option to remove the helmet and mask was added, but the original look has become iconic that the new option isn't used too often.

SKULL RANGER

While Skull Trooper was one of the first cool skins added to the game, Skull Ranger is just so much cooler and was first added into the game in the Halloween of 2018. The combo with the Skull Sickle pickaxe and a cool looking Back Bling could still strike fear in opponents, let alone a whole squad of players equipped with Skull Ranger outfits.

RED KNIGHT

Red Knight is hands down one of the best looking knight outfits in the game. It was introduced in the early stages of the game and was extremely rare later on, but now with it reappearing in the item shop quite a couple of times have made it common. The blend of the outfit, a Back Bling, and the Crimson Axe make for quite the combo. It's one of the more expensive skins at the price of 2,000 V-bucks.
